In a mess with ex
I split up with my ex 6 months ago. He has, in recent months, been pursuing me, though never actually coming out with 'I want you back'. It was him that finished it first time round and i was devastated.
Now I find he is seeing someone else and has been for 3 months and yet says he misses me and thinks about me all the time. I have also been dating someone, though only for a few weeks. Am now very unsure about everything because at the weekend I spent time with the ex. and unfortunately slept with him. We both now feel guilty as hell, unsurprisingly and he says he 'doesnt know what he's doing'.
Am i wasting my time? I do really feel like i've let myself down by doing what I've done. I love him and just can't seem to stay away from him.

How was the relationship before it started to go wrong? Were you happy together? Do you love him? Can you see yourself spending your life with him? If the answers are all positive then you should consider giveig the relationship anther chance AFTER you have had a talk aout what went wrong and why and what you can do as a couple to ensure neither of you get stuck in a rut again in a few years time. Talk together about where you see yourselves in say 5 years time, if you're both reaching for the same goal then there's no real reason to miss this opportunity. As for your current relationship, I suspect you're not 100% happy with him before you slept with your ex (I'm not dissing you at all for it).
Everyone makes mistakes and deserves to be given another chance - for the right reasons.
