Idiot son.....again
49 Answers
My eldest works in a local shop in his hols from Uni. At Xmas he witnessed a man stealing booze & he gave a description to the police. The police arrested this man today as he helped himself to more booze from a different shop. They've just been here to verify the description. My boy described the man in great detail - but failed to notice he was on crutches as he only had one leg! How can someone so academically gifted be such a numpty in everyday life?

My son is in his 30s now and a dad himself so he's a bit better-not a lot. I've got such fond (ahem) memories of falling over a traffic cone in his bedroom that he'd brought home the night before, finding the neighbour's dwarf conifer in the coal shed because he'd flattened it when he rode his bike into it and tried to hide the evidence, loads of things. Wouldn't change any of it for the world though.
