It's over 5K but I can't remember exactly- just Google 'ISA limits'
£5640 in the current financial year
£5640 and will rise In April for next year to I think £5760
Adult ISA £5,640 per financial year
Child ISA £3,600
Is that that same for stocks and shares ISA's

With interest rates being what they are is it still a good idea to have a cash ISA?
Very poor, sandy, Halifax may be best, but at least they are tax-free does this qualify as a tax avoidance scheme?
if you are prepared t ohave a notice account or tie the money up for 3 years you will get 2.8%, but if you are only looking at saving it in cash, an isa will always be better because of the tax advantage
