I think we just had to tell Ed in a reply posting on his thread what name we wanted to change to, I don't think we had to do anything further, did we?

No and we had until tomorrow to ask. Then the whole thing will implode under its own weight.

No. Ed has said changes will be collected up to tomorrow. His team will then work on implementation. I guess it could take a few days of uploading and testing to make sure histories are transferred to the new name (I'm assuming they will be!) and of course that Badges and Best Answer counts still work (only joking).

You just have to let Ed know of any change that you want to your user name ( you can change your avatar any time you like), If I remember rightly he said he would do it until the 11th, thats tomorrow.

We just have to wait and see now what happens.
