Wow, thank you all for your instant brilliance. Would never have got Geraldine McEwen in a thousand years - my electronic solver is just OED content. I always associate this great actress with "the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" but now of course I remember her as Miss Marple! Easy when you know the answer! lol.
