What denomination bank note did the bank of England introduce in 1752 and withdraw in 1945?

possibly the "white tenner", introduced because of gold shortage in the 7 years war & withdrawn at the end of the war because of the amount of German produced forgeries from 1943.

erm I dont mean to be pedantic but can I point out that the seven years war started in 1756 and ended in 1763?

although to further your point the �10 note was introduced in 1759.

I think there was a thousand-pound note that ceased beinc circulated about the end of the war, so that might be it. Can't find any reference on Google, though.
