It's Saturday. Well, the chunk of rock passed safely by. I wonder if there were any little green men on it and the didn't like the look of the place, so went off to explore somewhere else!

A bit misty but its lifting now. A sunny day in prospect.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning, it's quite chilly here but dry so that's a bonus. :)
DT Got the idea from someone on here last week can't remember who then WBM said get the tins of marmalade and make it yourself and I did. Don't think I will be buying shop marmalade again.
Good morning all, looks like it's going to be sunny here.
I remember years ago buying tins of stuff to make ones own marmalade...is this still around?
The marmalade in tins is now available in lots of flavours. I saw about 4 different types last week. I think it's called Mamade.
oooh,great..where can I buy from?
Tesco should have it. It costs under £2 for a large tin. Good luck.
Got mine from Adsa.
Morning all, I just got some mamade for my mum this week from Morrisons, it has gone up in price, used to be £1.60
@ anne, that is a fine looking clock. dtc
Hi, dicky. I wondered if you'd seen it. What did your dad say about it?
I will get some...thanks.
He thought it wonderful as well, beyond his talents he said (He is 89 this year) Thankyou. have you found someone to service yours?
Hi, dicky. I have found a man about 30 miles away who comes highly recommended. He will collect, give it TLC, return and set up. He has a waiting list, so it should be about 4 more weeks now until he comes.
Many thanks for asking.

well done you, wendi!
My mum buys and freezes seville oranges in season and makes her marmalade about 5 times a year using the mamade as well. I have her recipe somewhere if anybody is interested
