Sorry sqad, vague I know!
I was bulimic for a few years in my early 20's. I tore my esophogus and would bring up blood every time I vomited (I still do). In September 2012 I had weightloss surgery privately. I had a gastric sleeve where they remove part of your stomach. For the first 2 weeks I was just on liquids, following 2 weeks was pureed foods, following 2 weeks was mushy food and then after that you are told you can eat anything but less of it. You have to eat incredibly slowly and chew everything within an inch of it's life! It's been fantastic and I have lost just over 4 stone since then. However, for the past 3-4 weeks I have found that no matter what I eat I vomit after it. I can't seem to keep any food down but I can keep liquids down (except soup). I bring up everything from yoghurt to steak. I have to take Centrum multi-vitamins daily for life and I can keep them down which I find odd! When I have vomited, there has been some blood and I suppose I was just wondering if my torn esophogus and all this vomiting could be a factor in throat cancer. I was having a "moment" I think!
I have managed to contact my surgeon and I am going to see him and the bariatric nurse on Monday. Thanks again x
