my AB first birthday. So what has happened in that year?

Negative.
Been told I'm unfit to be a teacher.
Been asked 'Who do you think you are?'
Spending too much leisure time here.

Positive.
Helped to sort out, Dad's care home top up fees, bleeding a radiator, making a proper ragu sauce, dealing with a poorly wood pigeon, using a slow cooker, grooming my GSD, unjamming a jammed drawer, etc. etc. (too many to mention, really)
Starting a really long thread that others seemed to enjoy, feeling valued, helping out with some crossword and puzzle queries, making 'friends' with some people, albeit in a cyber sort of way.

All in all, the positives outweigh the negatives. It's nice to be here. I'm glad I found AB. I might stay for another year!
