He is organising his April holiday with the MG club for two weeks in France.
They need an hotel in Dover the night before the ferry. He searched on google for hotels in Dover , he chose the cheapest (as usual), two days later, tonight, someone informs him the hotel is in Dover USA and its non cancellable. Who ended up phoning USA and pleading with someone to refund the booking? Me!!
I did a good job, they will refund!!! He's not fit to be let loose on his own!

I certainly hope he has Ena!
Indeed. I meant as in future trips - or have you taken over as his booking secretary? LOL
LOL, there are lots of Dovers, we're very proud of them!

If they haven't rebooked, the most convenient, IMO, is not actually in Dover, it's the Ramada at Whitfield on the A2 where there is parking. All you do on the morning you travel is drive down the A2 a mile or so, Jubilee Way takes you right to the roundabout at the docks.

We don't have many decent hotels in Dover, lots of small ones and B&Bs. There are two in the centre of the town on the A20 - the County Hotel and the Dover Marina (latter is a Best Western).

boxtops I stayed at Burstins about twenty odd years ago. What a wake up call that was. Absolutely horrendous .
Remind him - they drive on the right in France.
Burstin's in Folkestone, caran, we don't go there :-(

Chris - I used to live almost next door to the MD guest house :-)
Sure he's not going to Paris..................Texas? Via Delaware seems a long way round.
