The chat allowed in AB Suggestions was a temporary measure so CBers could
communicate new forums, chat rooms or internet spaces to eachother while
CB shut down. Hopefully, you all have had time to do this.

Before anyone shoots me down, I haven't come to crow, but AB's always been an information exchange first and foremost. If people were able to use to CB to post messages, then it shouldn't be beyond them to do the same in another forum pending further decision on this site. It's nearly a month since CB was suspended and given that the original offshoot of Froggers had over a hundred members at one time, there ought to be a future for somewhere that's properly run.
I understand the reluctance of AB management to publicly endorse chat sites away from here for business reasons, but it would help if those of you wanting to remain in touch for social posting actually got together on one site rather than split up across several and wonder where everyone else has got to.
There doesn't seem to be a schedule for a public decision so it could be weeks, it could be months but there may be a better chance of CB returning in some form if this category or any other isn't abused.
I may have resorted to guerrilla tactics at times to put points across, but in the main it's to get this site back to its intended purpose. It used to work very well indeed and let's hope it will again.
For those who've been upset by any of my posts, I tender my apologies although any details posted were already very much in the public domain as already acknowldeged. I'm calling a ceasefire in the interests of AB's well being and in the light of AB Ed's announcements today and would ask for similar consideration to be extended. The vast majority of us came on here to make use of the site's resources for vexing questions and long may that continue.

A most appreciated post A Chill Wind. I agree wholeheartedly that AB should (will) revert. Threading and posting without getting hit in the gut should please any serious poster.
