I'm having trouble printing things as no matter what it is it comes out pink! I've tried the head clean and the printer isn't registering low ink so don't know what the problem is, can anyone help please?

I had a similar problem with my Epson SX435W. Power the printer off for 5 minutes. Power back up & run the "Nozzle Check". If even one of the "steps" in any of the colour lines is missing, run "Head Cleaning" & "Nozzle Check" again. I recall doing this 3 or 4 times & if memory serves, the black ink cart finally owned up to being low. Replacing it when it asked to cleared...

First, run a nozzle check to see which inks aren't printing properly. Then run the head cleaning utility several times more.

The Epson website states "If print quality has not improved after repeating this procedure about four times, turn the printer off and wait for at least six hours. Then run the nozzle check again and repeat the head cleaning if necessary". My own experience though (with a different brand of printer) is that it can take ten or a dozen head cleans to do the job.

Otherwise you'll need to attempt to clean the print head manually, possibly using a kit from here

The "Head Cleaning" process does use a certain amount of ink, so be sure you have replacement carts ready should you need them.

Thank you both, will try what you suggested and keep fingers crossed.

Tried the nozzle clean and the head clean, both times the black is perfect and of the colours only the pink is printing, will take the blue and yellow cartridges out and give them a shake (you never know) then turn off for a while.

It did what Lie-in King said, the blue is registering needing replacement so will do that tomorrow and see how things go. Thanks again to you both, very helpful. x
