Just returned from bidding farewell to my dear aunt, 91, probably the most kind hearted, generous and wonderful lady I've had the pleasure of knowing.

The world will be a sadder place for her passing.

Condolences Blue Toffee....some people are pretty special aren't the? My 100 year old friend died yesterday.....mad as a hatter.....great sense of humour. But I'm happy for having known her. x

Thank you all for your kind words. But we shouldn't be sad, she no longer suffers, and she is reunited with, in her words, "my sweetheart of over 60 years"

Ahhh ....thanks Excel.......Like BT...there are some people who were a pleasure in our lives...... people we will really miss.
Although the day I visited just as she switched on the microwave to sterilise Brillo Pads I could have done without. x
