Just received this email from a corporate company. Admittedly it was signed by 'Adminstration Apprentice'.

"This is an email just to let everyone know that the St. George’s Day 10km race is now renames at The Daffodil race.
Taking plane on Saturday 13th April and Sunday 14th April 2013 – Entries are now open."

Does it say why it as been renamed tenrec ?.

I'd be more concerned over why they'd sent it to me, are they expecting you to enter?

Ha ha. They have moved the date from St George's Day, so thought a new name was more appropriate.
Boo, yes, I entered this race last year. AND I will be entering it again this year. I know, I know, I'm mad!

sorry, but if it's a St Georges Day race I would expect it to be in good old English miles and not johnny foreigner kilometeres.....lol

Yes DJ, you would think that here in the Lakes, we are so backward that we still run in miles. After all I pay for everything in groats! (Note to Tony: that's groats not goats!)
