Lost Sense Of Smell

i had flu and bronchitis two weeks ago, after it cleared up i realized i had no sense of smell can anyone tell if it will return any time soon or should i see the doctor.

I lost my sense of smell a few of years ago and it lasted for over a year -think it was due to over use of nasal sprays. It sounds unimportant but is awful as your sense of taste tends to go to - I would just leave it a couple of weeks and if there is no change maybe see your GP but I was told there isn't much you can do
