What year were the arias on the CD "Pavarotti Premieres - First Recording of Rare Verdi Arias" recorded? The booklet contains no info. It has been issued by Sony Classical, with Claudio Abbado conducting the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala. The orginal recording was been licensed by Fonit-Cetra in Milano to CBS, then perhaps Decca-London, before being acquired by and reiussed on CD by Sony Classical. I suspect the recording was done in Milano, perhaps around 1965-67, but I am not sure. Any ideas?
