Thief in your house

Its 3AM, you hear a clash downstairs and a mad scuffle followed nasty shriek. You run down stairs with the baseball bat from under your bed to find a thief stretched out with your possesions all over the floor... he has tripped and impaled himself on a sharp ornament which has pierced his shoulder.. he is starting to bleed and is in alot of pain... what would the next thing you would do?

Ring an ambulance?
Call the police?
Smack him again?
Assist him?

Im open to response...

Dress him up in suspenders, tie him up(bondage)throw him into the street and call the police!Let him explain that to the police! PS. Dont forget to put make-up on him! lol.
