I've had problems since an op last year, the op was successful but I still get aching, and I've found these pads brilliant. They heat up automatically when you open the packet, and you stick them OVER your underwear (pants in my case as the pain is lower back). Tesco have them, or you can get them on line. I have the extra large ones and just paid £3.80 for a pack of two from Express Chemist. They stay hot for 10 hours which is brilliant, better than a heat pad cos they stay with you wherever you go!!
