Contact Lense Stuck In Eye! Please Help!!

My right daily contact lens is stuck in my eye. I cannot get it out! It has been in for 26 hours now, and it is giving me a bad headache.
What can I do to get it out?!
Are there any eye experts out there that can help please?

Have you got any eye drops or wash you can put in (lots) to lubricate the eye and lens (to help it move more) to help get it out? Make sure your fingers are really dry after to help the lens stick to it. As others have said, if you can't get to your opticians (many are open on a Sunday though opening hours may be less than usual), preferably one who operates the red eye...

whyever didn't you pop into your opticians yesterday?? If you still can't get it out, go to your local Minor Injuries Centre, this morning - they'll help.

As others have said, if you can't get to your opticians (many are open on a Sunday though opening hours may be less than usual), preferably one who operates the red eye service, then you could try a walk in centre who has nurses on duty or your local minor injuries unit.

Do you have any cleaning liquiid for contacts that you buy at the optometrists? If so give your eye a good swill with this and leave it closed for about 3 min. then do so again for 3 min, then try again to remove the contact lense. Make sure your hands are clean. When you get it out don't put a new one in for a day or so to give your eye time to breath and get over the poking it has probably gone through. Good luck.....oh....you could also Google the problem and see what turns up there.

Not an eye expert but wore contacts for over 28 years.
Was going to describe how to do it but Sqad's link is what I used to do.
