I have a spare dish and digibox and have heard that I can get a card that will give me access to all the free-to-air programmes (FREESAT I believe)
depending on who I speak to SKY either doesn't know about it or they want to charge me 150. Has anyone managed to obtain a SKY free-to-air card for free in recent months. I had one a coupleof years ago but needless to say it doesn't work anymore

Well over here in Spain yes we can get the free-to-air cards but get them from dealers when we buy the digibox so ask in Curry's or wherever.

Currys / Dixons don't want to know (no commission in it for them) since I don't need a dish or a box.
When you bought yours in Spain did you have to register it to a UK address and does it need coding to one specific box?
wacky racer I don't know how it's done as the dealer does it all for us.
