Anyone heard of this Becker?

I have a framed oil painting which, to my eyes, is very beautiful, though that may not mean a lot. I depicts a placid lake, a castle and a sailing boat, seen by moonlight. My mother owned it at least 70 years ago, though it is probably older than that. It is signed 'Becker' in firm black letters. Anyone any idea who this Becker might be, other than some obscure amateur dabbler?

Paula Modersohn-Becker? Doesn't sound like any of hers but you never know.
