I've always been partial to a bourbon biscuit myself. Although chocolate malted milk biscuits are tasty!

McVities Ginger Nuts.

The only biscuit that can take a 'double dipping' in a cup of hot coffee.

All other biscuits are wusses compared to the Ginger Nut. They are the Steven Segal of the biscuit world.

Gary Baldy - I agree. A mate of mine told me that Jaffa Cakes are cakes because when they go stale they harden, whereas when a biscuit goes stale they soften.

i agree, jaffa cakes are great but the best bit is that you can eat 15 for the equivalent of one mars bar!

Aw come on! There's nothing in the WORLD better than a chocolate HobNob! They're SO nice I don't buy 'em cos I eat them all at once .........

And, before they were invented, the best by far (& still way up there) was McVitie's plain chocolate digestive.

So difficult,, Custard creams are great, as are shortbreads. Remember the square Cadbury Snack shortbreads. BUT the best has to a chocolate digestive from the fridge with a glass of ice cold semi skimmed milk. Fantastic
