My daughter has terrible trouble taking tablets, she really needs to take some pain relief for an arm injury, the kids stuff doesn't go up to age 12 and the Nurofen Lemon Melts have run out and Tesco have empty shelves where the Nurofen sits. Arrghh!

Will it be okay to crush (Tesco) Ibuprofen and stick it in some orange juice for her?

Thanks for any replies.

Many thanks sqad, she'll be pleased :)
:-)
You might find it easier to crush it and put it in a little yoghurt, pudding or icecream, even maybe jam or a cream cheese or pate if she doesn't like sweet things. You wont lose any in sediment at the bottom of the glass. All he rlife my mum could never swallow tablets and she got quite expert in dealing with it.
Have exactly the same prob with my 13 yr old - he just gags when trying to swallow tablets. Ive ended up crushing tabs and sticking them in jam lol

Thanks Woofy and Smow, I didn't think of the thicker stuff, it would definitely be better as there was some sediment at the bottom of the glass which led to more rigmarole in getting her to take it.

Both my kids are horrors for taking medicine, they always have been, mind you, I shouldn't complain, it will hopefully stop them experimenting with the recreational stuff when they're older.
LOL, good point rocky!
