First 'Derek' made me cry and then watching Joey Essex in TOWIE crying over his Mum who died when he was 7yrs old.

My tissues have been doing overtime tonight.

I'm not really a fan of Gervaise so wasn't going to watch it, but someone told me I should and boy I'm glad I did. I think Derek is his best role ever, plus the supporting cast is excellent too.

Just don't go into it thinking you're watching a comedy, cos it's not. There are some funny parts, but it's just a really, really good series.

Most definitely. It's gentle, moving, thought provoking and funny at times (especially the caretaker) - probably not for everyone, but I loved it.
