I've noticed, and I must say it irritates me, that advertisers appear to re assign the gender of cows in the commercials by giving them male voices. It started with the cow in the Boddingtons beer commercial a few years ago, and now it's Dairylea ads. Cows are the FEMALE of the species yet ad men insist on giving them male voices.... WHY!?

The Boddington's "cow" was called Graham Heifer, but most definitely came equipped with udders.

weird.

I know what you mean, but can't supply an answer. I do know that there was at least one other pairing of comedy voices for the Dairylea ad ( can't remember who they were now, but Stephen Fry and Tony Robinson were the ones that were picked ).

All I can say is that Cows look friendlier than Bulls, even in animated form.

Don' t you think its a good choice that dairylea use the voice of stephen fry for that of a gender confused cow, and i have heard rumours about mr tony robison ( alledgedly i add with regards mr Robinson )
