Is Ab An Addiction?

I'm actually coming to the conclusion that it is, you know.

I had a text from my Mum late last night. My Dad was snoring and she couldn't sleep. I'm assuming predictive text kicked in, as her text say "I'm fed up fed up". What do you think I thought of? Yep.... :-)
I'm hoping it was predictive text, and not that my Mum really is Desktop. It got me thinking though, I am slightly obsessed with AB, and do mention it quite often, any one of my friends of family could be on here, secretly lurking.
It wouldn't be difficult to spot who I was, I don't think.

I deactivated my Facebook account because I was spending so much time on there. It was my 'new years resolution' to keep away from it for a whole twelve months.
I'm doing well, but I seem to have just replaced that addiction with a new one... AB.

I've been told I have an addictive personality. I go from one thing to another. Currently it's Answerbank. Could be worse, I suppose! :-)

Do you tell friends or family about AB, or is it your own secret thing that you don't want anyone knowing about?
I seem to bring it into the conversation all the time. In fact, my Mum ofetn says to me "oh you and that bloody answerbank".
It is really helpful though, when someone's got a problem, needs something sorting, and you've seen the subject raised on here before.

So, is AB an addiction? I really think it is. I've tried going away from it in the past, but I always come back. I am, without a doubt, obsessed!

19.1 for me but some days on a run of good threads it can top a hundred some days I don't come on at all... not addicted at all.... now coffee thats my addiction....and playing word games and spider solitaire.... and Redman41 is my biggest addiction of all.... hang on I found him on AB so maybe it should count as my biggest addiction as I have a bit of AB in the flesh all the time...

Lol. That sounds a bit wrong.

Actually, that would probably seal it for me, finding 'Mr right' on AB.
But then what would happen? We couldn't spend our evenings sat on opposite sides of the room, both on our laptops and on AB. That would just be weird.... or would it...??

After I have read the papers on a morning, I log into Facebook first, (I stalk my kids one there), then check emails, then log onto AB, then spend the rest of the day switching between here and online scrabble.

I tend to flick between here and The Daily Fail.

Might need to end my new years resolution early and get back on Facebook. I could do with one more distraction :P
