internet explorer problem
5 Answers
In the last two weeks or so my internet explorer browser doesn't seem to be working properly...lots of the pictures on websites aren't loading up, and the font of the writing is looking strange, plus i'm constantly getting the message screen "Cannot find Server" etc and it takes a few attempts to load websites up...what might be wrong and how can i rectify it?

are you on dial-up, or broadband? and is it just from one site that it does this, or lots of large, popular sites too?
even though i don't think it's software-based, i'd still recommend changing your browser to firefox:

If you're seeing a strange font in your browser it suggests a registry entry may have become corrupted. Running System Restore should put this right.
As fo3nix and Brooklyn77 have both indicated, however, Firefox is far,far superior to IE (if for no other reason than that pages load a lot faster!). As October has stated, you'll lose the ability to format text on AnswerBank (which, incidentally, is the only problem I've ever experienced with Firefox) but you'll gain a great deal more.
