Wrestling School or Gymnasium in ancient Greece. Think its _A_AEST_A. Also what should the spelling of Emmental be (11D alt sp) that's the way I always spell it and it fits ?

No no, I am sorry but there is not one correct way to spell this cheese so you are perfectly within your right to spell it how you wish jdublya and not to consider that you have spelt it wrong in the past. This is from Chambers which shows that neither spelling should be considered 'wrong' :

Emmental or Emmenthal, noun a hard Swiss cheese, similar to Gruy�re, made in the Emmental or Emme valley.

Thanks all, was only worried as am Home Ec teacher and so have been writing this on the board for the kids to copy down, and always embarassing if its spelt wrong !
