Hi there, I've just been checking previous pages and found your question answered as "Lavender and old Lace" by Myrtle Reed. Think it's worth a shot.

But the plot doesn't seem to tie in. Although there are maiden aunts in the book.But..they don't appear to poison anybody.I have seen this question around AB and have to admit it is now bugging me and would be interested to know what the answer will be.!
As for Dkeyse I am fed up with him /her picking on Jan1956 and having a go at Kosoro and he was very unkind to a person in A&L who asked about how she could get started in showing paintings.Probably on the sauce again !!

I will treat your comments with the contempt they deserve! Am not on sauce as you call it, in fact quite sober! I have hundreds of friends that I see once a week, and my wife works for one of the biggest charity organisations in London! Work it out! Sorry that you have taken my correspondence so seriously! You should lighten up!!!!
