Builders called "Arthur"
I have found from experience (plenty) that any tradesman you let into your house called Arthur will always cause more trouble for you than they repair. I am not alone am I ?
They always have cement caked radios mis-tuned and run at full volume, empty their bowels in your toilet not theirs, ruin your carpets with oily boots, break something which is out of stock and need your full attention making cups of tea all day.

I'm not a builder as such but I do oil fired heating, plumbing, electrics and marine engineering so might have oil on my soles but I respect peoples homes and use dust sheets. Although I have to say the dust sheet is often to protect me from the home!
I don't have a radio and only accept tea when it is offered in preference to my flask. I only use the loo if I have to. I appear to be sadly lacking in entertainment value which is probably why the customer often goes out and leaves me to it. Many of my regular customers will just leave a key for me and I let myself in. I rather like the name Zebedee.
