Has Anyone Been Called Up For Jury Service In England Recently
6 Answers
My 18 year old son has received a letter requiring him to attend jury service (England).
I had a thought about his proof of ID as he doesn't have a driving licence or passport. I can't find anything on the government website but only found some info on the Northern Ireland site and going by the NI site he doesn't have the right ID.
I will find out properly when he receives his confirmation pack, but was just wondering if any of you good people might know what is required in England.
thanks

I am now exempt from jury service. I would just reply saying sorry, that He has no proof of I.D. as He is only young. I am sure they will drop him and move on to one of the other few million people who are on their list of names. Don't worry about it, I know the letter looks very threatening, but just reply and they will move on.
