White Spot On Aquarium Fish

I bought 3 glow light tetra,3 platy & 2 plants from shop on 2nd March.. 1 week later Cardinal tetra already in tank & 3 new platy & 2 old ones developed white spot. could this have been brought in from shop or is 1 week too long for there to be any connection?

Yes it could but it's very hard to prove. Buy an over the counter remedy and raise the temp in your tank.... that'll shift it.

and don't forget to take the charcoal out of the filter and/or turn off the UV filter if applicable. Both will inactivate the medicines.
