Lump

Now this is a squishy lump on a good table of mine - sister bought it and cracked up when she saw - she believed it was the hot tongs - it wasn't - I am beginning it is either hair lacquer or make up of some kind - am just after rubbing the thing and now have turned it into a cream line.

Is it a wooden table Conne? Maybe the varnish has lifted?

no the table would be sorta painted brown not varnish - I may buy one of little try on pots and see if it helps. dont want to make it worse and believe it sticks right out at you - can't cover it with any thing.

if the little tester paint won't help, although you say you can't over it with anything, how about a dressing table runner and put some ornaments on it?

Jeez, everyone worries when they hear the word lump. Thank goodness it's just a table you are worried about!

Re the lump - forget that - but want to give you a laugh - my sister rang me many many years ago in work to tell me she had to get her breast off - and I screamed what what what and panicked - oh she said she had problems with her chimney and it was her chimney breast - oh my lord says I - coulda killed her
