As an android mobile user I have a few emoticons that show up on Twitter but not very fun ones!!! My friends using iPhones have better ones - Anyone know a way of me getting my hands on these emoticons too???

Speaking as someoner who knows nothing of twitter and iphones :-D surely it would be the phone ap that recognises the combination of characters and substitutes a picture ? Or have I the wrong end of the stick ? I'd have thought you'd need to find an ap that does the same.
