Flying an Imperial Star Destroyer in Star Wars Battlefront 2

Is it possible to fly one of these in the X-Box game? If so how?

not that i know off, you can man the gun turrets for it but that is all.

To man the gun turrets of any of the big battleships you need to press the ENTER VEHICLE button in the control room at one of the stations that surround the weapons control, the control room is accesible through the main doors from the hangar.

Want a hint how to destroy the battleships easily?

Be a pilot, fly straight into the enemy's hanger, enter the main control room and attach your Time Bombs to the Weapons Control. Then restock your Time Bombs from the Weapons Droid next to it before moving to the doors at the back of the control room and destroying the Shield Generator with the Time Bombs.

If you keep your man moving at all times you should be able to do both these actions before you lose enough health and die. Once you have done this the enemies battleship is weaponless and shieldless and then you only have enemy fighters after you.
