I seem stuck on 4 dn Had misgivings about a dance (5) I have r?e?a
Also 19 ac. Rubbish pile accomodates last of timber (5) d?e?k
and lastly how does the athwar arise in death warmed up - Having cut sideways through deep mud etc
Quite a hard puzzle this week (for me!)

8d Death warmed up - 'athwar(t)' (sideways, cut, in) anag (sadly) 'deep mud'

Thanks Lie-in Not even my Chambers has rueda so don't feel too bad about that and my little puzzle solver did not recognize dreck. Athwart was simple enough I suppose.
