Stopping the pill

My 16 yr old sister has just started taking the pill but was dumped by her boyfriend yesterday and now wants to stop taking them. She is only 2 weeks in - should she continue until she is meant to have a break and then stop or just stop now?

She could stop any time she wants, it doesnt do any harm

Ok, thank you should she expect her period in about 2 weeks if she stops now then?

She could have a light one right away, not sure what happens after that, but there is no detrimental effect on stopping at any time

Maybe she shouldn't be so quick in stoping? She might get back with her boyfriend or meet someone new. I'm not suggesting that she would jump into bed with someone, but isn't it better if she is protected at least that much?

I had thought the same thing mycatis - I advised her to at least finish this months and think about it - I think she thinks that is a good idea too!
