Came across The First Cuckoo, Letters to the Times since 1900, and The girl with the dragon Tattoo, in a Quaker Charity bookshop yesterday.
Have you found any interesting books in charity shops?

I tend not to buy in charity shops, rather give them my own unwanted books .... but I would do if I did, very good value and sometimes you find a gem.
I once bought a book from a charity shop and was excited when I realised it was a first edition.
I went on Ebay to check its value and found it was worth exactly hat I had paid for it lol
*what*
I found soem history books in a charity shop in Southend a few years ago. They were a series on English and British monarchs. I bought 3.
**some (not soem)
Brand new copies of new releases-Gone Girl-a thriller, and The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry.Also several books by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I love charity shops....I just need to learn to donate some!

LOL. It's not often we see a Freudian slip in action here in AB. Mrs O, looking at Boxtops St Paddy's day headgear, writes 'hat' for 'that'. :-)
