The last 3 times I have gone to the M store I have not received the expected deals at the till and have had to queue at customer services to get the money back. And everytime I see my Mum she tells the same story. The last problem I has was with a red wine offer
I always check now -especially if i buy any offers like 3 for 2 or BOGOF. Sainsbury's are bad - I bought something that was on offer reduced from £17 to £13 and it went through at the original price -had to go through customer services to get my refund and that entailed being walked by the manager to where the product was to check the price -no apology for wasting my time of course
i meant to check the price of the avocado but couldn;t be bothered to go back in store, im sure it wasn't £1 tho

oh yeh forgot about the two for ones that I've probs with at "M"s
was charged for something I didn't buy a couple of weeks ago, went in the following day, all sorted very nicely.

What I mean is, instead of paying for 2 items, she'd charged me for 3.
I always look through receipt before leaving shop...
got home from "M" and found id been charged twice for £8 toilet rolls ( it was a large shop so didnt think to check at store ),i rang them and had to go back for a refund
I always always check my bill, especially at the 'M' store, and I would say that three times out of five it is wrong, but Asda once charged me £25.00 for eggs instead of £2.50! Funny how the mistakes always favour the store though :o( -rosy
i always do,
I was once overcharged at Tesco..when I pointed it out at customers services I got a full refund as well as the product....!!
i always check and find that tesco are the worst culprits for it. i once complained about an out of date product there and was called a liar!!!!
Why is everyone referring to it as M? You're allowed to Morrisons.
I bought some prawns from Morrisons that were BOGOF. I only looked at my receipt by chance. I went to customer service and she said to go and grab another bag. I said I already had two but had been charged twice and she said it's 'buy one get two free' so I wonder how many people paid for 3 bags thinking they were getting two free.

Hope you realise how selfish you're all being checking your till receipts.

Don't you realise that anything above the till price us checkout staff get away with robbing from you goes into our Christmas bonus pot?
I do every time. Mr S used to moan like mad when we first met, when i would leave the till and stand and check my reciept every time.
But after seeing how many times I have turned back and had money refunded, he doesn't moan anymore.
In fact he always asks as we leave......Have you checked everything.
morrison's used to be my regular supermarket around 7 years ago and I used to find them bad for it then .I used to check my receipt everytime due to their errors. It's disappointing to hear they are still doing it. These days I mainly use asda who I must say are excellent in this area and also tesco who are similar to Morrison's. just last week a bought a bottle of wine that had a shelf price on offer of £4.59 on the receipt full price £6.29 . Then you have to weigh up if willing to stand at customer services for 15 minutes or stand the loss. :O( it's rubbish.
ps due to my morrisons days It started my habit of checking my receipt every single time .
I've had the same experience as murraymints has with Tesco. Cash back AND keep the items.
Only down side so far is that it's usually something farty like cornflakes, never whisky. :)
