Practical Implications Of An Einstein Rosen Bridge?

Clearly two of the biggest brains that have ever blessed physics with their attention, Albert Einstein and Nathan Rosen, haven't made errors in their calculations of space-time and the theoretical possibility of 'warping' or 'folding' it to reduce the distance one need travel, a short cut through space.

If space-time is malleable and workable, what would be the physical effects on space-time and all it might contain (planetary matter, stars or whole galaxies)?

If space-time is flexible and fold able, which would snap back after the e-r bridge event, I can accept this concept in my minds eye. What, however, happens to the matter contained in this space? Will it warp with space-time? How would an observer on a world in the warped space percieve this event?

Trying to put off the casual reader by avoiding the word "wormhole" ? I'll await answers with interest but suspect local matter has to be affected/warped and any observer would be lucky to remain living to observe.
I thought space / time was naturally warped. I wasn't aware that it could be manipulated (?).
I don't know enough about GR to answer your question really so will be interested to see if an expert shows up. Even so, while the original Einstein Rosen bridge has been shown to be unstable, there are examples of theoretically stable wormholes. They tend to require lots of weird stuff to keep them open though, and we haven't yet observed that stuff. So it may just be a mathematical curiosity.
Remember Einstein died half a century ago

Things have moved on we can't continue to hero worship his every word, he made a lot of mistakes, the cosmological constant and opposition to Quantum Mechanics spring most readilly to mind
Isn't it the case that the cosmological constant has been shown to be non-zero? In which case rejecting it was a Einstein's mistake, rather than putting it back in.

So if we are still in the realm of wormholes, stable or not, could you play a game of 'what if' with me?

- Your boundaries are the known law of physics and your human imagination. It were possible for space-time of fold, what are your predictions to the effects on the matter on both Newtonian or QM scales, in twisted area? Further, could the processes of life survive on a molecular and planetary scale?

I'd care to hear your thoughts on this one. Hypothetically of course :)

Not an expert.

however in a prog on dark matter, they equalled things up by putting a term where the cosmo constant was and saying this is the dark matter term.
wh wasnt a constant. -[ not a function of time but a function with time]

Clarity clearly not required to be a theorist

[I have a taken a Brouwer view of equations as strings of symbols]
