I've got a "set" of socks (yeah, yeah, I know) from the men's bit of Next or M&S or somewhere.
It was a pack of seven pairs with the days of the week on the bottom of the foot.
Whenever I wear them, I think it would look a bit anal to wear the socks for the correct day. So ...
I make a point of avoiding the socks for that day.
But then I wonder ... is it equal anal to rummage through the drawer to find some socks with a different day on them.
Just to make things worse, I also avoid the socks with the previous day written on the bottom, in case it looks like I'm still wearing the socks I had on yesterday, lol.
And now I'm posting on the web about my stupid socks. Aaaaaagghhh!!!
I've got 'days of the week socks' too (although they're not from the mens section) and I *have* to pair them correctly together, but I never wear the correct days.
Like, on Monday I will sometimes wear Thursdays socks, and, if I'm feeling *really* crazy, then I'll wear Sunday's on Monday and just spend the whole day lounged on the sofa watching movies.
The possibilities are endless....!
Have you seen those socks with individual 'sack' for each toe? Sister got me a beautiful pair. I don't wear them, they are uncomfortable - feels like things between stuck toes.
I hate those socks with the individual toes. They're always really pretty, like brightly coloured stripes, or polka dot, and then you've got the alien toes. Urgh!
I'm a bit concerned about what my sock wearing says about me. I nicked a pair of Mr BM's socks yesterday (pair in its loosest form - he has another pair just like it). One said "I love Dad", the other said "Mr Grumpy".
