For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.An old school answer woulb be that its fine to put a little petrol into a lot of diesel,i recall that this was common practise in the haulage industry in freezing temperatures to avoid diesel from waxing.However modern diesel vehicles have a catalytic converter which wouldnt like petrol too much,neither would the injectors for that matter,or the fuel filter etc...
