Has this weeks hotter weather made you do anything different or out of the ordinary? I have spent the last few days trying to keep our baby cool and occupied by sitting at the computer. (Surprisingly, it is the coolest place in the house at the moment - hence my numerous contributions and nonsense to AB)
brawbird, shouldn't you have borrowed 8 tablets so you could put one in between each toe? That's how they work innit? Anushika, aren't you worried about the flies?
answerbankin, hope you didn't get too much stick. I was stuck in a traffic jam yesterday and everyone was tooting everyone else to move forward but no-one could go anywhere. The normal 10 minute journey took 50 minutes and I had 2 half-baked kids to keep occupied. So if anyone was driving down the A5 yesterday and saw a sweaty mum singing nursery rhymes seemingly to herself, now you know!
I noticed London was a lot tetchier than normal. (me too) Outside Charing Cross there was a dishevelled man striding around screaming "whats going on?" repeatedly in an aggressive manner to strangers. I think the heat must have melted his temazepam. Dog day afternoon.
nah coggles it wasnt thyat bad, two guys poked me while i was walking down the stairs and usually i would just look at them and walk away, but i was hot and cranky so i told them off, they were just kids and they just walked off in shame.
hope you had a better day today. I am beginning to feel what it must be like to in solitary confinement. I have been holed up in the coolest room of the house for days trying to work out how to feed, water, amuse, cool down etc a baby that doesn't appear to want to do any of those things. Never thought I see the day when I would wish for colder weather!!!
Saw a guy walk up to an armed police officer and asked the officer to shoot him to put him out of his misery.......ok I didn't see it, but can anyone remember the movie the line comes from.....hint? ok... Al Pacino ......this is just to take your mind off of the heat....
