Bedroom Tax
is it true that if a bedroom is less than 70sq ft it is not classed as abedroom-apparently 1985 housing act section 326 says so. does any1 know if this is true tia

Further, that Section only applies when deciding whether or not a property is overcrowded. The tables therein don't apply for any other purposes. (The Government has indicated that specific definition of a 'bedroom' will apply for the purposes of assessing the Under Occupation Penalty; instead they will rely upon property descriptions used by councils and housing associations).
