south asian woman's hairstyle
I was on the tube yesterday and I saw two women with the most amazing hairstyle. I'm guessing it was for a special occasion and that they were south Asian. The hair was divided into five sections in the top running from the forehead to the nape of the neck, each with a very fine plait at the top, and the very fine plaits that were used to bind these five sections then came across the forehead and criss-crossed in the middle.
I probably haven't described it very well but if anyone knows what region this hairstyle comes from I'd be really interested!
