Maths Type Question

Can anyone help me with this please? The things have recently been weighed at school and thing 1 is 65 kg and thing 2 is 72 kg. when they were born, thing 1 was 5lb 5oz and thing 2 was 6lb 14oz. Is the difference in their weight still the same ratio (or whatever the proper term is)? Thanks (I could probably work it out but I still wouldn't know if I had got the answer correct.)

Ar birth, thing 2 was 11% heavier, now thing 2 is 30% heavier.

Whoops, sorry, other way round, 30% at birth and 11% now!

Thanks all. Not worried about either of them, just wondered. Not obsessive about weight or anything, just interesting when you get the same information about your children at the same time (told you I was bored!).

Sherr, my maths is questionable although I had to teach it. Learned more then than I ever had at school. Still not mastered chunking.
Surely you must have many interesting stories about your children. Why not write them down to somewhat allay the boredom? Presumably they sleep sometimes. Write them in your head whilst they are awake and needy.
