For the last two. I have already asked once several days ago but no-one seemed to know, so here I am again.

1. Was El Campin, the main stadium in Bogota built by McAlpine? Only literally as this Oxbridge food buyer will show.

2. If 2 = 48, 3 = 13, and 5 = 31 what does 6 equal?
(I have tried all sorts of combinations for this one but nothing works, including kings, births, deaths, length of rule, must be doing something wrong but can't think what)

"El Campin" is an anagram of "McAlpine" and an anagram of "manciple" (one meaning of which is a food buyer in a college). The answer is therefore "manciple".

star i have subscribed to your other question about the numbers because it's bugging me too and I've tried several things, including assigning numbers to the letters of alphabet and scrabble but no luck so far.

Thanks methyl. I would never have thought of that.

Prudie, hopeless by the look of it. Can't think what it could be!! Have tried all sorts of combinations but no luck.

Thanks for asking that question Starone. I've looked at my WiP papers from setting the quiz and realise it needs correction

Q30 should read

If 1 (one) = 48, 3 = 13 and 5 = 31, what does 6 equal

Apologie to all, separate AB posting will correct

Do you know the answer?
