You deserve to be spoiled Iluv. x

Great bunch by the sound of them, you could rent them out y'know :-)
That sounds great Iluvspikey, lucky you.
Can you send them here, Spikey?

I'm still not well, but unless I get off my backside and pop round the shop, we won't be having anything for dinner.
Sounds lovely.
I've got a turkey joint in, roasties, honey glazed parsnips, carrots, broccoli and yorkshire puds. Sugar.... forgot about the gravy! :-/

sends pork chops to BM
I'm cooking venison steaks tonight, my Dad is coming round for dinner, thought I might try this.

Are you married to Heston Blumenthal?
I misread the subject heading and thought you had spoiled the leg of lamb.

I carried on reading the post waiting for when you were going to announce that the thermostat on the oven had gone doolally and had either incinerated everything or hadn't cooked it.......

Glad you've had a good day of being looked after.

I took a chicken breast out the freezer this morning and when I got home this afternoon found that it is still solid. I've bunged it in a tandoori marinade and am hoping that it will defrost soon so that I can have it with some saag aloo and cachumber later.

I'm a tad peckish because I was too tired and cold yesterday to bother cooking so I haven't eaten properly since Friday lunchtime :-(

Sounds yummy.

I've ordered a leg of lamb from Tesco to arrive Tuesday evening. They've got them on special offer.
Going to my daughters later for roast pork etc .Seems odd not having to do veg etc on a Sunday, but nice ,had time to finish my book.
I have a joint of beef in and I've just had a sneaky slice and it's lovely.

Having it with roast potatoes, new potatoes, carrots, broccoli, mashed swede, cabbage and yorkshire puds.

We don't eat desserts :-)
lol Alba. I think I am going to haul my sorry ass to the shop. If I buy some cream, I think I've got enough stuff to come up with claridges chicken pie. I havent done any shopping cos I am going away for a couple of days tomorrow so Mr BM can fend for himself.
That's nice spikey...how's the arm ? Xx
I too read that as spoiling the lamb - glad you have been well treated, iluv....

Here, roast belly of pork, puds, roast spuds and a selection of veg.......

Hi minty - shoulder aches, elbow is sore- got like back ground pins and needles, tingling still. I was going to do beef today, hubby came in from taking dog for a walk and grinning like a Cheshire cat with two huge legs of lamb he'd got for a tenner - local shop had a freezer break down and they'd half defrosted should have left them outside, they'd still be frozen!
