I am in the process of dieting but the weight is coming off very slow I have recently looked and researched the 500 calorie diet I have took this on board and I am starting the programme tomorrow! However it says something about HCG drops to help maintain weight loss could anyone tell me what these are and if they are worth investing in?
500 is much too low a calorie intake, kira - OK for maybe one day, but you run the risk of depriving yourself of essential elements in your food. The ideal weight loss - in order to keep it off permanently - is around 2 lbs a week - no more.
I confirm that is not a good idea either. The occassional fast may not hurt you but to try to survive on 500 calories a day will put your body into starvation mode and it'll store everything it can. Chances are you'll feel cold & hungry all the time, food always being on your mind. Furthermore if you did manage to lose weight you have not trained yourself to eat sensibly so the chances are it'll all go to pot over the following year or so.
No I don't know about these drops but I think you are heading in the wrong direction anyway so it's a moot point. Lose slowly, lose permanently.
It's very hard to live on a diet which contains only 500 kkal! Losing weight is a slow process and it's normal that you don't get an amazing results in few days. http://www.phentermineplan.com/ - read about building healthy weight loss plan!
i've done loads of fad diets lost lots of weight but put it all back on when i started to eat properly now im doing a sensible eating plan and hope to loose weight slowly but for good .
Don't bother with the HCG drops. Absolutely useless and a waste of money.
In fact, I have some knocking about here if you want them!
As above, you cannot sustain a diet of just 500 cals. You will lose weight, and fast, but you'll feel and look like Sugar.
The HCG drops are a con. If you want to limit yourself to 500 calories a day (not recommended) then you'll lose weight whatever. No hormone drops are going to make any difference.
I have done the 5/2 diet- it works for me just do 500 cals two days a week, not on consecutive days and eat normally the rest - i dont have much to lose less than a stone just firming up and it has worked for me
Madness, dont do it, just change your diet on a lifelong bases, eat in moderation and eat healthily. Have a treat day but dont go mad, lose weight slowly and it will stay off if you eat sensibly.
