Dustypuss, this doesn't apply to me , however if I lived over there I would be worried.
Not at the moment.
My only worry is the below inflation rate of interest paid on savings.

No, but my bank worries about keeping its money with me.
Where we used to live, years ago, we had a neighbour that used to keep all his money down the back of the Settee, he thought it would be safe because no-one would ever look in the front garden for it!

No worries? Well, the banking system has been saved at some massive cost to all of us, but anyone who feels blasé about the safety of their deposits clearly never had money in Halifax, RBS and Klaupthing 5 years ago.
